This Academy is a 5-day-long cross cultural camp that brings together students and/or young adults from the Lakota and Mohawk Nations, and students and/or young adults of Cherokee, Choctaw and/or Creek descent to learn and/or teach the fundamentals of the culinary arts and hospitality. Program participants gain knowledge and skills in a number of areas, help to feed hundreds of people, and gain an understanding and appreciation of different cultures, as well as their own.
